Intern, Technology Risk

Responsibilities

• Work extensively with Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Process Owners to facilitate self-assessment activities to promote continuous improvement and the best practices
• Work closely with the Tech Risk Specialist in control testing, identify gaps and provide recommendations for remediation
• Oversee IT incident reporting process and ensure IT incidents are properly documented
• Assist Tech Risk Specialist in the review of Business Continuity Plans
• Coordinate IT regulatory inspections and external audit engagement
• Perform User Access review, data massaging and establish user access matrix, together with Tech Risk Specialist
• Leads effort in awareness training, phishing exercises, monthly awareness articles to foster strong IT risk culture in 1st line of defence.

Requirement

• Pursuing a degree qualification in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and keen on developing collaborative relationships
• Strong analytical skills to review and analyze data to identify and articulate key issues and propose solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter, always strive for excellence, innovative with service-oriented mindsets and initiative to improve processes
• Good facilitation and presentation skills
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
• Willing to commit to a 3 to 6-month internship
