RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help source for story ideas, especially F&B-related news
- Assist editors to gather quotes from newsmakers in the food industry, such as hawkers, café/restaurant owners, etc.
- Fact-check articles
- Write some articles, if editorial aptitude is demonstrated
- Edit photos and upload stories on to the website
- Snap photos/videos for social media and upload posts
- Occasionally visit eateries to sample food, snap pics and interview hawkers, where appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
- A keen interest in food and a flair for writing
- Solid communication skills
- Knowledge in Photoshop and video editing a plus
- A meticulous, independent worker
- Sound knowledge in digital media and various digital platforms
(Successful applicants must commit to at least a three-month full-time internship during the stated period.)
