Job Summary
Operate and maintain technical theatre equipment to deliver seamless live performances, ensuring safety and precision in lighting, sound, and stage machinery management.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate lighting, sound, stage machinery, and control systems (e.g., QLab) during rehearsals and live performances to ensure smooth production flow
- Manage and maintain technical theatre equipment by following safety regulations and operational standards to guarantee reliable and safe usage
- Execute precise lighting and sound cues during live shows to enhance audience experience and promptly troubleshoot equipment issues on site to minimize disruptions
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or degree in Technical Theatre, Audio Engineering, Stage Lighting, or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of technical theatre experience with proficiency in QLab, digital audio consoles, and lighting systems
