Job Summary
You will prepare and manage design and production drawings, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure accurate documentation to support construction projects, driving quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze construction drawings to extract design requirements and identify potential issues
- Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify design or construction details promptly
- Prepare detailed design calculations to support drawing accuracy and compliance
- Produce and submit shop drawings for approval, ensuring adherence to project specifications
- Issue production drawings to the production team to facilitate manufacturing processes
- Liaise effectively with internal company functions to resolve design and drawing-related matters
- Maintain and update all drawing files, making corrections as necessary to ensure current and accurate documentation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a professional certificate
- Minimum 2 years of drafting experience in the construction industry, preferably in precast
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong initiative and resourcefulness to work independently and meticulously
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate as a team player
- Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask efficiently
- Civil Engineering background preferred
