About Deco Builders

Deco Builders (S) Pte Ltd is a BCA-registered contractor delivering renovation, interior fit-out, addition and alteration (A&A), building and M&E works for residential, commercial and industrial clients across Singapore. We carry out our own electrical works with an in-house Licensed Electrical Worker.

We are growing our maintenance business and are looking for a Sales Executive to build a book of recurring maintenance contracts.

About the role

You will win and grow maintenance contracts for landed homes and commercial premises, then work with our Site Supervisor to make sure every scheduled visit is planned, carried out and recorded in our maintenance tracking app. You own the client relationship from the first meeting through to renewal.

Key responsibilities

Sales and business development

  • Build a pipeline of landed homeowners and commercial premises owners and operators (offices, shophouses, retail and light industrial units) through referrals, existing clients, property agents, facility managers and direct outreach
  • Visit premises with the Site Supervisor to assess their condition and maintenance needs
  • Prepare proposals and quotations using company templates and the price list; present, negotiate and close
  • Meet monthly targets for new maintenance contracts
  • Manage renewals before expiry, and identify additional works (repairs, upgrades, electrical, renovation) for our project team
  • Record every lead, meeting, proposal and outcome in the company CRM

Scheduling and service coordination

  • Coordinate with the Site Supervisor to schedule maintenance visits according to each contract
  • Keep the maintenance tracking app up to date: contract details, visit schedule, service records, photos and client acknowledgement
  • Be the client's main contact: confirm appointments, give updates, handle feedback and escalate issues promptly
  • Track overdue or missed visits and follow up until they are closed
  • Work with the Admin team on invoicing and payment follow-up

Reporting and compliance

  • Submit a weekly pipeline and activity report and attend the weekly sales review
  • Follow company Workplace Safety and Health rules and wear the required PPE during site visits
  • Handle client personal data in line with the PDPA

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably selling services such as building maintenance, M&E, air-conditioning servicing, facility management, renovation, pest control or property services
  • Track record of meeting sales targets on a commission-based package
  • Valid Class 3 driving licence, and comfortable driving islandwide every day
  • Good spoken and written English; able to write clear proposals and client messages
  • Comfortable with smartphone apps, CRM, WhatsApp Business and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Organised, with reliable follow-up; able to plan and manage your own schedule

Good to have

  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, roofing, waterproofing and painting
  • An existing network of landed homeowners, property agents, facility managers or managing agents
  • Ability to speak Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or other languages, to serve clients who prefer them
  • Diploma or Nitec in building services, engineering, facilities management or business
  • WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (CSOC); we can sponsor this if you do not hold it

What we offer

  • Basic salary of S$2,700 to S$3,200 per month, depending on experience
  • Uncapped monthly commission on cash collected, with a higher rate once you pass your monthly target, plus commission on renewals, additional works and project referrals
  • 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
  • Company vehicle provided, OR a S$500 monthly vehicle allowance plus fuel claims of up to S$400 per month (with receipts) if you use your own vehicle. A GPS tracker is required in the vehicle used for work
  • Training on our services, price list, CRM and maintenance tracking app
  • Annual leave, medical and hospitalisation leave, and CPF contributions

Based at our Toa Payoh office, with daily islandwide client visits.

About Deco Builders Singapore

Deco Builders Singapore Pte Ltd is a Singapore based interior fit out and renovation contractor established in 2010 and incorporated in 2014. Built on a strong electrical contracting foundation, the company has evolved into a contractor led organisation that integrates design coordination, engineering knowledge, and construction execution under one accountable team. Unlike typical interior design firms that outsource technical risk, Deco Builders operates from a contractor first perspective. Its core strength lies in in house technical understanding of electrical systems, mechanical coordination, structural modifications, and regulatory compliance. This foundation ensures that design intent aligns with buildability, safety, cost control, and statutory requirements from the outset. The company undertakes projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Key works include office fit outs, retail spaces, laboratories, warehouses, mezzanine installations, HDB and private residential renovations, and upgrading works for existing facilities. Beyond finishes, Deco Builders manages electrical switchboards, distribution boards, VRV system infrastructure, fire rated enclosures, plumbing systems, drainage works, drywall partitions, ceiling systems, tiling, and general construction. Compliance and documentation form a critical part of its operational framework. Projects are coordinated in accordance with prevailing Singapore regulations where applicable, including engagement with Licensed Electrical Workers, Professional Engineers, and relevant authorities. Structured quotations, disciplined variation management, and formal testing and commissioning procedures reduce ambiguity and protect both client and contractor throughout the project lifecycle. A defining advantage of Deco Builders is its hands on leadership and versatile technical team. The company maintains a lean yet capable structure that enables direct communication, faster decisions, and tighter cost control. Site supervision is practical and disciplined, workmanship standards are enforced on site, and documentation is maintained systematically to ensure traceability and accountability. Beyond execution, Deco Builders is strengthening its position as a contractor plus design integrator. The company incorporates 3D modelling and visual walkthrough tools to improve clarity on space planning, scale, and material finishes before construction begins. This approach minimises costly rework and bridges the common gap between concept and completed works. The organisation is also developing structured aftersales and maintenance programs to support long term asset performance. Services include air conditioning maintenance, electrical inspections, drainage servicing, and ad hoc technical support packages. This lifecycle perspective reinforces its commitment beyond project handover. Having navigated complex project challenges and operational restructuring over the years, Deco Builders operates with resilience and disciplined financial management. The company prioritises sustainable growth over aggressive expansion and seeks projects where technical depth and execution capability create measurable value. Today, Deco Builders positions itself as a dependable main contractor that combines field experience with structured systems. With a strong electrical engineering backbone, multi trade coordination capability, and commitment to continuous improvement, the company delivers spaces that are technically sound, functionally efficient, and commercially viable. Deco Builders Singapore Pte Ltd remains committed to building environments that comply rigorously, perform reliably, and stand the test of time.
