About us
Mission Group is a Singapore hospitality group behind concepts including Casa Vostra, Willow, Chin Mee Chin, temper., Petra and more. Our newest restaurant opens in late January 2027 at Dempsey Hill: a semi-fine dining Chinese restaurant set in a spacious two-storey building. It will have a grand main dining hall, private dining rooms, and a wine lounge on the second floor.
Our Host sets the tone for every guest’s experience from the moment they arrive.
What you’ll do
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, and escort them to the dining hall, private rooms or wine lounge
- Manage reservations, walk-ins and the waitlist through the reservation system
- Plan seating to balance guest preferences, special occasions and table turnover
- Handle phone, email and online enquiries, including private dining and event bookings
- Take note of guests’ preferences, special occasions and regulars so their visits feel personal
- Coordinate with the service team on table status and arrivals
- Handle billing and payments when required
- Keep the reception area neat and welcoming
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year of experience as a host, receptionist or front-of-house team member in a restaurant, hotel or customer service role
- Polished, warm and confident, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills in English. Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage for serving Chinese-speaking guests.
- Organised and calm under pressure
- Experience with reservation systems such as SevenRooms, Chope or TableCheck is a plus
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
